In a bid to enhance public awareness and promote transparency within the mining sector, the Mining and Minerals Regulatory Authority held a strategic meeting with representatives from MBC on Tuesday 09/September/2025.

The discussions focused on ways the two institutions can collaborate to develop programs that highlight the Authority’s initiatives, policies and impact which can also help publicise MMRA.

During the session, officials from the Mining Authority emphasised the importance of accurate and timely information to educate the public about mining activities, Responsible mining practices, environmental conservation, and investment opportunities.
